Meal Provider for the I-HELP Shelter Program

Every night of the year TCAA’s I-HELP shelter program offers home-cooked meals prepared and served by community volunteers, to the men and women sheltered by the program. Meal Providers are groups that plan, prepare, deliver, and serve the evening meal for up to 45 men and women. Meal providers are also welcomed to sit and enjoy the evening meal along with program staff and participants; this exchange of home-cooked meals and social interaction is critical to the healing process for men and women who have been homeless and are now working towards a personal plan for self-sufficiency. Attendance at TCAA’s Volunteer Orientation is optional for Meal Provider groups. Contact victor@tempeaction.org to select a date for meal service at I-HELP.
